When submitting the manuscript to our Journal, authors must carefully read the policies as follows:
I. AUTHOR'S POLICY
-
Authorship criteria
The author is the individual directly responsible for creating the original article. When two or more individuals collaborate with the intention that their contributions collectively form a complete article, they are referred to as co-authors (hereinafter collectively referred to as authors). Authors encompass a range of individuals, such as researchers, scientists, experts, lecturers, doctor students, and students.
Author status is determined through the following criteria (McNutt, 2018):
-
Criteria 1: Making significant contributions to research by initiating research ideas or designs, engaging in data collection, analysis, or interpretation, drafting and writing the manuscript, or providing critical review of the content.
-
Criteria 2: Demonstrating agreement and taking responsibility for all edited versions of the manuscript prior to publication.
-
Criteria 3: Consenting to the content and opinions presented in the manuscript, and assuming responsibility for addressing all matters concerning the accuracy and integrity of the research work.
It is important to note that an individual must satisfy all three of the above criteria to qualify as an author of a scientific article. Authors must be aware that individuals who only contribute to securing funding, provide data, or have leadership roles in research groups will not be eligible for authorship if they do not meet all three of the specified criteria.
-
-
Roles of Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal are required to clearly define the roles of the main author, the corresponding author, and co-authors. the order of authors within the article must accurately represent their respective contributions, in accordance with the guidelines established by the Journal:
-
The author whose name appears first on the list of authors in the article is designated as the main author of the article, who plays the main role and directly creates articles..
-
The author whose name appears second on the list serves as the corresponding author and is the designated representative of the author group. This individual is responsible for manuscript submissions, engaging in discussions with the journal, and conveying information to all team members. They ensure the accuracy of member information and the authenticity of the research work's details.
-
The remaining authors are recognized as co-authors, having made substantial contributions to the research such as developing the idea or design, collecting, analyzing, or interpreting data, drafting the manuscript, or critically reviewing its content. Their positioning within the author list reflects the decreasing level of their contributions to the project.
To determine the roles and order of authors in the manuscript, the author group must adhere to the following regulations:
-
The number, order, and roles of authors listed in the article must be collectively agreed upon by the author group and must align with the three authorship criteria.
-
Author information, including full names, affiliations (including local and national), and author order in the manuscript, must be consistent with the details provided in the Journal's submission system.
-
The designation of the corresponding author is the responsibility of the author group. The corresponding author is denoted by an asterisk (*) placed next to their name in the manuscript. If the main author is also the corresponding author, they occupy position 1. If the corresponding author is a different individual, they are positioned at number 2. The corresponding author's information, including full name, affiliations (including local and national), and contact email in the manuscript, should match the information declared in the Journal's submission system.
-
The author group is accountable for establishing author status and order in the list before submitting the manuscript to the Journal.
-
Individuals who solely contribute to securing funding, provide data, or lead a research group without meeting the three authorship criteria will be acknowledged in the acknowledgments section.
-
Once the manuscript enters the editing stage, any modifications, deletions, or reordering of author names in the author list are not permitted.
-
The Journal regards requesting changes to an individual's name or information without their explicit consent as a breach of publishing ethics.
-
-

The author maintains complete copyright of their articles, encompassing both moral and property rights, as stipulated by the Vietnam Intellectual Property Law, for the manuscript submitted to the Journal. Specifically:
-
Moral right: the author possesses the right to determine the article's name or grant the Journal authority for naming, aligning with the Journal's regulations; the author holds the prerogative to either self-publish the manuscript or authorize the Journal for its publication; the author is endowed with the integrity right, enabling them to safeguard the manuscript against distortion, modification, or mutilation by others, this provision serves to protect the author's honor and reputation associated with the work; the author permits reviewers and editors of the Journal to suggest amendments and supplements for improving the manuscript's quality. This collaborative process is conducted in accordance with the Journal's regulations, ensuring continual enhancement and adherence to established standards.
-
Property right: held by the author, extend to the original manuscript submitted to the Journal. The author retains exclusive copyright of the intellectual property inherent in the submitted work. Furthermore, the author is entitled to submit a manuscript derived from their own published article. However, this derivative manuscript should differ in title, objectives, research results, and not exceed a similarity threshold of 30%. Additionally, the author possesses the right to submit the manuscript to another journal in the event of the Journal's refusal to accept or publish the work.

Contributorship
The Journal mandates that authors explicitly outline who has contributed what to the planning, conduct and reporting of the work described in the article in the acknowledgments statement. An acknowledgments statement should include author contributors, non author contributors and group author contributors (collaborators). Contributors who have contributed materially to the paper but whose contributions do not justify authorship should be described clearly in the acknowledgments statement.
Authors must determine among themselves the precise nature of each person’s contribution, and the Journal encourages open discussion among all participants (including author, co-authors, contributors) to reach a consensus.
This is also the appropriate place to include contributions by patients or members of the public who have assisted as research volunteers, giving their names and specific roles. We encourage authors to fully acknowledge the contribution of patients and the public to their research where appropriate.
Authors are requested to acknowledge the individual or organization providing financial support for the research execution or article preparation, elucidating the sponsor's role in the Acknowledge section. It is imperative to transparently disclose any financial support involved in the research or manuscript preparation, encompassing costs for research support (such as salaries, equipment, supplies, and miscellaneous expenses), human resources and employment, commitment to remuneration, patent or patent applications, grants, and other funding sources. Additionally, non-financial support may manifest through personal or professional relationships with entities or individuals. Authors must explicitly mention the names of organizations and individuals contributing to the research, including their role in shaping the manuscript's content and structure (ideas, design, data collection, analysis, standards, etc.).
